baby & the bathwater
November 10, 2009 It's one of those days. You know the days where nothing goes as planned at all, and it's all flying at you full speed ahead. So far today I've had my twitter account & work email hacked, 2 gushing bloody noses from the kids (dry air and stuffy noses don't mix), three heads of crazy wild hair to brush (and honestly I don't know if I have the strength to detangle today), and a baby who has decided he'll hurl himself head over heels, over the side of the tub, whether there's water in there or not. So by golly, there better be water in there at all times or I'll have a baby with a cracked noggin.
I figured I'd spare you the photos of the pools of blood & scary Medusa-like toddlers, but leave you with one very happy water-loving boy.
P.S. A note to those of you who have ordered patterns that release today: they are ready to ship, and you should be receiving yours shortly. Right now I am not able to send any attachments, and can barely access all of my info, etc., and am working with my internet service provider to resolve the problem as quickly as possible so it can be business as usual. And for those of you who use Twitter: please don't click on any links in DM's, even if they look like they were sent from a friend. That's what I did, silly me, even though I normally never do, and that was a big uh-oh. Live and learn, I guess.

My mom used a detangler solution of 1 part conditioner/eight parts water when we were little. Worked like a charm.
