saints and pinners' swing coat

How utterly fabulous is this Swing Coat from Saints & Pinners?!  I madly, deeply, instantly fell in love with it the second I saw the photos on their blog.  (And really, how adorable is this little one, too?!)

Fran created this summer version of the Coat using two lightweight quilting cottons (both Amy Butler prints, which you can find in the Saints & Pinners shop if you are in the UK!) and added a lightweight gauze in between the layers to give the coat a little more substance.

My favorite part, though, has got to be the gorgeous dragonfly brooch used as a closure in lieu of the snap or button.  How awesome and creative is that?

And I am still receiving daily requests for this pattern in larger sizes... they are coming, friends, they are coming~ I promise!
